Awesome solar lights. They are plastic but solid and feel like glass, with a long tail for the solar panel. I bought a set for the tree above my firepit...they worked so great I bought another one for my Swing set. THEN, I bought a 3rd set for the tree next to my hot tub! Obv i think they rock. Have had the first set for 3 months with the only issue being they sometimes switch modes. Pretty bright depending on how much sun they get..duh!

After going through various hanging solar lights, we finally found the company that figured out what customers wanted & needed! This product is not only solar, but also made out of a hard substance(? Clear acrylic) which outlasted my glass globes that shattered pieces of glass everywhere( big safety issue) all over my enclosed lanai on not only the pavers, but glass landed inside our pool as well from a rain/wind storm). Had these solar globes hanging throughout my extensive large covered lanai area for several months now and they still look like they were just bought & installed & the string light globe lights look great/bright at night and remains lit from dusk to dawn( I live in FL where it’s usually sunny outside), whereas my glass globes only remained lit for about 5 hours. Definitely worth every cent! The only downside( wouldn’t take off any stars for it) that my husband had with installation is that the solar panel was outfitted to be staked into the ground, and that didn’t work for us as we were using inside a screened in pool/outdoor kitchen/living area & there was no place to put the stake, however, my hubby just rigged it and made it fit securely up high inside the screened area ( same level as where the solar lights are placed)! I draped these orange Halloween lights across my deck rail and they look great. The solar charger worked great the first day even though it didn’t get much sun that day and the lights were nice and bright. The lights continue to come on every night no matter how much sun it get during the day. The bulbs are clear during the day but turn orange when the lights come on. I will leave them up until after thanksgiving as the color is appropriate for both holidays. Will probably order more in other colors. They are great!!
